Desert (Kavir) Trekking in Iran

Visiting a place which takes one's glance to eternity , be coming deeply impressed by the scenery of moving sands and burning salt marshes, seeing the ruins of ancient monuments examining rare plants, seeing strange animals are among motivations that promote the lovers of animal geography to embark on a trip to the Kavirs of Iran. Abrif review of the travelogues written by these curious visitors reveals that in every period at least one researcher has tried to see parts of Iran's Kavirs.
One of the most well Known travelers of the Kavir is Swedish man " Sven Hedin" who visited Iran in 1905.
Hedin knew Iran & tried to make it known worldwide more than any one of his colleagues. Hedin traveled back of camel day & night for weeks driving hundreds of kilometers along the narrow Kavir paths to portray the Land in his book in a way that any reader can smell the dust & salt and sense the heat of the sands, the sands, the transparency of skies and moisture of the Kavir's rain showers in its pages and see closely the wild animals which pass by while listening to the sound of the bells hanging from the neck of camels which have crossed the Kavir in Karvans of centuries ago.

Desert Trekking Itinerary
Day 01 : Early morning drive to Varamin, Enroute you visit Qasr-e-Bahram caravanserai and have some food & refreshment, then drive towards the salt lake. After passing through black and sefid - Ab Mountains, we arrive at Maranjab caravanserai, where you can enjoy tasty drinking water flowing over the spring in the middle of the desert. O/N in camp.
Day 02 : After breakfast, we drive towards Kashan, Enroute we pass through Avghon (a visit to the most astonishing view of flocks of camels) beautiful sandy hills and witness marvelous landscape. P.M tour of Kashan. Overnight Kashan .
Day 03 : We complete Kashan city tour, then depart for Natanz Enroute, we visit the most famous and beautiful mountainous village of Abyaneh . O/N
Day 04 : Early morning drive towards Naeen, one of the most beautiful cities with features which attracts those who love profound inexplicable beauties of nature. O/N
Day 05 : Drive towards the central desert of Iran. (Jandag). Through Anarak , Enroute, we could visit small village, such as choupanan , with special character houses tailored for tropical of climate. Overnight in Jandagh in camp.
Day 06 : Morning tour of citadel in Jandagh , then the route will take us towards Khour, where we could visit traditional water arranges, later on we return to khour and Jandag and comp there.
Day 07 : Drive back to Tehran . Through Semnan, we end our tour in Tehran or extends for other program.

Desert Trekking Tour
Passing through Kavir plain (tree days) passing through Iranian untouched plain and desert has always been the desire of many orientalists and interested persons, but among them, people who have wanted, would succeed .
This route is apart of old silk road that until one hundred years ago has been used, but after constructing asphalted road, it has been left.
Feeling desert's silence, old buildings, Siah Kouh peak, protected region and animal life, salt lake, running sands and caravansaries of Shah Abbas are the unique attractions of this program.

Day 01 : Drive from Varamin, Mobarahyeh , 70 km dirt-road to the center of desert and night in old caravansary.
Day 02 : Drive to Siah Kouh peak, climbing peak, return to Abbasi caravansary, drive to salt lake and nighttime in Sefidab game-keeper century post.
Day 03 : Drive to Maranjab caravansary, visiting the hills of running sands, moving on salt lake, return from Maranjab to Kashan and finally visiting Khashan (70 km trekking per day) It is explained that for organizing mountain Cycling, we have good programs in untouched and beautiful nature of Iran.

This beautiful valley can be called as Iranian Switzerland - Exitance of famous peaks as Alamkouh and Takht-e-Soleyman and Caspian's jungles ,has given such a climate to this regions that you can't find it anywhere in Iran.
Our suggestion for you is to reside in Roodbarak for seeing the region better.
Consider it as your first base and visit different places in several days.

Day 01 : Drive from Rodbarak to Takht-e-Soleyman peak, return to Roodbarak and night in there.
Day 02 : Drive to Abbass Abad road and Caspian Sea drive back to Roodbarak and night time in Roodbarak shelter.
Day 03 : Drive Drive from Roodbarak to valasht lake and Chalus rood & drive back toTehran
