Tabriz, The rising point of brave craftsmen and patrons of art
With the arrival of Islam in the Azarbayjan region, this city was known to be a small village until the year 587 AH, when it became the capital of the Attabaks. For many years it was also the capital of the Safavids. Tabriz, now the center of the east Azarbayjan province, has become a main tourist attraction center, not only because of its many ancient relics, but because of the existence of numerous mineral water springs.
